؟What is diabetes and what are its types؟

Diabetes is caused by the body’s inability to produce or use insulin. Insulin is a substance that is produced in the body by the pancreas and causes sugar to be used, or in other words, the most important source of energy in the body.

Does diabetes affect vision?

If you have diabetes, your body will not be able to use the available sugar properly, thus increasing your blood sugar concentration. High blood sugar can cause changes in the body’s small arteries.

Diabetes also affects vision and leads to cataracts, glaucoma  and, most importantly, the destruction of blood vessels inside the eyeball.
